In Case You Missed It: American Flag Removed As "Offensive"

Jun 15, 2009

Just after Memorial Day, a story brewed that didn’t seem to get much airplay. A woman had a 3×5 foot flag hanging behind her desk in her office, an office she shared with three other supervisors. She came to work one day and was told the flag had been taken down because it was offensive to several employees.

For the entire story go to: Fox News

to all parties that made the complaint about the flag.
i fought in two wars for the same flag you do not seem to like. you came here from another country. if you do not like it here than go back to where you do like it.
i am sick and tired of all these immigrants comming here and want us to change our ways to what they left. if they like their prior ways so much then they should be there not here. or adopt to what we are.
go to their country and try the same thng they are doing here and ask them to change and see what happens. i am sure you will not like the consequence.

“I got into work, I was met by my supervisor and told that there had been multiple complaints, that people found the flag very offensive”

We must be mindful of the speaker here! An African immigrant not having full control of the language may have meant ‘distracting’ . I would say this is more likely for many in America have an affliction of attention deficit disorder. The cure of which is ‘mental exercises of accomplishing multiple tasks simultaneously. The company has ADD too! It should learn to pat its head and rub its tummy at the same time.

“She said the hospital told her that the American flag flying outside the building would have to suffice. “I was told, ‘There is a flag hanging out front, everyone can see that one. Is that not enough?’”

THIS STATEMENT REVEALS THE REAL TRUTH. This company administration as a lot of company administrations have become so ‘politically challenged’ that they have lost sight of, (attention deficit of) , the old principals and great unifying ideals and sacrifices of those that came before paving the way for their companies to thrive and prosper in this the Land of the Free

I also believe the company administration should apologize to McLucas for being well ‘stupid’ I assume all the participants of this drama have pledged allegiance to the flag. If there is not a common allegiance by individuals and by companies then there is no America, there is no United States, there is but chaos.

Denigrating the flag and marginalizing patriotism and separating religion from the people are Marxist tactics to create change. The company is a company of men and should pay heed and learn from this incident.

I am part of a patriotic family that has several that have served in the military. Even if I didn’t have family that had served in the military, I support what our flag stands for . Our country’s flag is a symbol of the sacrifices made by soldiers and civilians to ensure freedoms. I am tired of people saying that part of their freedoms are to say OTHERS can’t have freedoms. If McLucas’ colleague, a woman who immigrated to the United States from Africa 14 years ago, doesn’t like our flag – which represents our country then she should go back to Africa. I also believe the administration should apologize to McLucas for their insult to her, military soldiers and their families.
