UPDATE:

The problem we were seeing with the slow DSL speeds and dial-up issues, has been resolved at this time. We are receiving reports of connection problems for some DSL users in the Windstream coverage area. We know how frustrating it can be to have slow connection speeds…or unable to get online.

We are currently working with Windstream* to correct the problem that we are seeing. It seems there is a ‘trunking problem’ (problems with the telephone lines) between Southeast Missouri and Little Rock. They have dispatched technicians to look into the problem, but we do not have an ETA at this time.

If you are a DSL customer and have a 4200 Speedstream modem, one solution that we have found to help some of our customers is to disconnect the phone line from the modem and reconnect it.

The areas affected are: Doniphan, Greenville, Clubb, Wappapello, Williamsville (both dial-up and DSL).

We will try to keep you updated, and hope that this issue is resolved quickly.
