Spin vs. Record
We can talk about what the big four are wearing today or about Joe the plumber, but how does that help anyone make an intelligent choice for President of the United States on November 4th? At some point what needs to be understood is how the Democrat and Republican candidates see the country heading into the future, so an educated choice can be made. Voting for John McCain simply because he was a prisoner of war is as shallow as someone voting for Barack Obama simply because he’s black. It can’t be completely about the war in Iraq and Afghanistan. It can’t be completely about the mess our economy is in. We need to think deeper than that on election day!
Many extremely serious issues are on the table that must be addressed by the next administration and the direction the two candidates will lead us could not be more opposite.
Below are just 14 issues of great importance that both candidates have weighed in on to date, per the votes they’ve cast as U. S. Senators. A historical record of how each has voted cuts through all the spin and slick speeches and gives us, voters, a more truthful look into each man. (courtesy of WallBuilders.com)

I strongly encourage and challenge every person of voting age with two things between now and Tuesday:
1. Dig into the facts for yourself to find out who these men really are.
2. VOTE!!!!!!!!!! Not one soul can afford to stay home on election day and expect someone else to bear the responsibility of electing our next President. Why would anyone want to miss out on exercising this most precious right? These are exciting times we live in my friends. America is an awesome place to live.
