SEMO.net's Injunction Request Denied
Dear Customers and Friends,
Sadly, we found out today that our injunction was denied and we have to hand over all of our cable internet customers to MyCityCable. As we find out more, we will post it to the web site.
As I’ve stated before, we will work to make this an easy transition for you. Over the next weeks you will receive several emails about this transition.
We did not find out about the injunction order until this morning (Monday) and accounts that bill on the first of the month have already been processed. We will begin mailing refund checks the third week of May for any overpayments that you are due.
If you are a cable internet customer and have not mailed in your check, please wait until Wednesday and we will have an adjusted rate for your amount of time on the City Cable network.
We will be giving the list of customers to the city on Tuesday and they will begin moving customers over. As we get more information about the process, we will pass it on.
We will communicate with you via your semo.net email address during this time. As we’ve said, we will keep that address available to you six months. Should you choose to change addresses, please contact us with your new address so we are able to communicate during this transition.
Sincerely,
Brian Becker
