Bee Gees Tribute Band Brings the Classics to Tinnin Center
The Patrons of the Arts Society kicks off its 2014-2015 season as a world-touring Bee Gees cover band comes to Poplar Bluff for “Night Fever: A Bee Gees Tribute Concert” on Tuesday, October 14 at 7 p.m.
“Night Fever” performs the best-known hits of the Bee Gees, including “Staying Alive,” “Night Fever,” and “More Than a Woman.” The group has been touring for over a decade, bringing the magic of the live Bee Gees sound across the world.
“There’s a special magic to the music of the Bee Gees, and we’re fortunate to have such a great tribute band to share that with us,” said Tim Thompson, Director of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center. “Thanks to the Patrons of the Arts Society, we get to have this concert, right here in Poplar Bluff, for an affordable price.”
The band consists of Joe Varga, who performs the part of Robin Gibb; John Acosta, who sings the part of Barry Gibb; and Carm Castiglione, who performs the part of Maurice Gibb. All three are accomplished musicians with decades of experience between them.
Tickets are $10 each and are available online at trcc.edu/tinnin, at the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce, Dexter Chamber of Commerce, the college Financial Services office and at the door.
