Three Rivers College's Communications Department Wins Regional Awards
Three Rivers College’s Communications Department has won five “Medallion” awards for excellence in public relations from District 5 of the National Council for Marketing and Public Relations (NCMPR).
The department earned first place awards for the college’s website, a promotional “Graduation Success Stories” video, and the college’s monthly “President’s Perspective” e-newsletter. It won third place awards for the 2013 Viewbook it produced for prospective students, and for custom-designed signage for the institution’s College Store.
“We work very hard to help promote Three Rivers in our community, and we’re proud to have those efforts recognized by our peers,” said Teresa Johnson, Director of Communications at Three Rivers. “We have a great department with some very talented, dedicated people, who make the work we do possible.”
NCMPR is an affiliate of the American Association of Community Colleges and represents marketing and public relations professionals at community and technical colleges. District 5 includes seven Mid-Western states and one Canadian province. Award winners in each category are chosen from among a pool of submissions from participating colleges.
Members of the Communications Department at Three Rivers are Teresa Johnson, Director of Communications, and Jonathan Atwood, Coordinator of Media Services.
