Three Rivers to Spotlight Training Programs at Career/Tech Information Fair
Three Rivers College will spotlight its career-technical programs at the Career/Tech Information Fair from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 7, at the Bess Activity Center on Three Rivers’ Poplar Bluff Campus.
“In today’s employment market, many of the high-demand, high-paying jobs require career or technical training rather than a four-year degree,” said Dr. Brenda Russell, Dean of Career Education and Workforce Development at Three Rivers. “At Three Rivers we offer that training through certificate and associate of applied science degree programs in a variety of career and technical fields.”
At the Career/Tech Information Fair, attendees can talk to representatives of Three Rivers’ career and technical programs about the benefits and career opportunities offered at Three Rivers.

In addition, college staff will be available to talk about support programs for students, financial aid, registration, and more.
“Three Rivers is about helping people get better jobs and improve their lives, whether they are looking to upgrade their skills to advance at their current jobs or to pursue new careers,” Russell said. “The Career/Tech Information Fair will showcase opportunities for people across Southeast Missouri looking to better their job prospects, earn more money, and improve their lives and the lives of their family members.”
Admission to the Career/Tech Information Fair is free and open to the public. Prize drawings will be held.
