Center Stage and the Three Rivers College Music Department present the hit Andrew Lloyd Weber musical Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat at 7 p.m. Nov. 12-14 and 2 p.m. Nov. 15 at the Tinnin Fine Arts Center on the Three Rivers Campus in Poplar Bluff.

Tickets are just $10. They can be purchased in advance at the Poplar Bluff Chamber of Commerce and the Three Rivers Financial Services Office. Tickets also will be sold at the door.

Joseph retells the Biblical story of Joseph and his coat of many colors as an energetic, family-friendly musical. Audiences will follow Joseph as he outwits his unethical brothers, journeys from slave to prophet, and eventually attempts to reunite with his long-lost family.

This is the second collaboration of Center Stage, Three Rivers College’s blended community/student theater company directed by Tim Thompson, and the college’s Music Department, led by Cindy White.

Joseph is one of the most entertaining musicals ever written, in my opinion. It’s energetic, it’s colorful, the songs will stick in your head for days,” Thompson said. “We have such a great bunch of singers and actors in the region, and they’ve really brought the show to life.”

“What I love about this musical is that there is a little bit of everything,” Thompson said. “You have action, comedy, and danger. It really does have something for everyone. It’s something you can bring the whole family to.”

The cast includes Alicia Petzoldt, Mara McClintock, Brian Crawford, Richard Joseph, Carson Priddle, Gaelle Frere, Michael Starnes, Colbie Harbison, Robert Gayle, Meagan Greer, Alex Jarvis, Ashley Miles, Michael Joseph, CJ Deckerd, Shane Koster, Emily Berger, Wesley Johnson, Karamenah Adams, Kayleigh Schalk, Anthony Richmond, Alyssa Cook, Erin Robison, Ashley Miles, Steve Lewis, Kevin Harbison, Mia Gayle, Dalton Eddy, Micaela Griffin, Ryan Gillispie, Mylee-Belle McClintock, and Payton March.

Children’s Chorus Members are Lanie Schalk, Febe Worley, Ella Goodrich, Emma Reeves, Lauren Robertson, Olivia Goodrich, and Ben Casey.

The director for this production of Joseph is Tim Thompson, with Cindy White as music director /conductor. Members of the production crew are Robert Abney, tech director, and Sade Higgins-McDonald, stage manager.
