Ecology Day 2015 at Lake Wappapello's Visitor Center

On Wednesday, May 6 over 250 4th grade students from Qulin, Fisk, Neelyville, Sacred Heart and Malden schools came to Lake Wappapello’s Visitor’s Center for Ecology Day. Students attended 9 sessions learning about the Earth, resources, and the lake. The event was hosted by Stephanie Milner, 4-H Youth Development Specialist, with the University of Missouri Extension Butler County. Presenters came from the US Forest Service, US Army Corps of Engineers, University of Missouri Extension, and the Missouri Department of Conservation
