World’s Largest Swimming Lesson - June 24
Tragically, drowning is the leading cause of unintended, injury related death of children ages 1-4. Imagine being part of a global team of kids and adults all working together to stop drowning. The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ was created to spread the word that Swimming Lessons Save Lives™. The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ will take place over the course of 24 hours at an estimated 500 locations in more than 20 countries at pools and waterparks around the globe to focus attention on the vital importance of teaching kids to swim.
Kids in the Poplar Bluff, Missouri area will have a chance to participate in this global event on Friday, June 24 at 11:00 a.m. This is a FREE event at the R. W. Huntington Municipal Pool which is an official host location for The World’s Largest Swimming Lesson™ (WLSL).
