The Poplar Bluff Police Department is investigating a home invasion robbery and shooting which occurred at a residence in the 1600 block of Sanders st in Poplar Bluff on 2/1. Based upon witness statements and evidence found at the scene, the suspects were apparently trying to steal a large quantity of marijuana. On 02-01-15 at approximately 4:49 pm, Officers with the Poplar Bluff Police Department were dispatched to the Poplar Bluff Regional Medical Center Emergency Room in reference to a patient being treated for a gunshot wound. Christopher Gregory (27 years old, of the 1600 block of Sanders st Poplar Bluff) was later transferred to Barnes Hospital in St Louis for treatment of his injuries. Witnesses to the shooting said
