On July 11, 2006, Microsoft will officially stop offering support for the Windows 98 and Windows ME operating systems, as a part of the Microsoft Lifecycle Policy. On this date, semo.net will discontinue support for these operating systems as well. Microsoft is retiring support for these products because they are outdated and can expose customers to security risks. We recommend that customers who are still running Windows 98 or Windows Me upgrade to a newer, more secure Microsoft operating system, such as Windows XP, as soon as possible. Existing support can still be found in the Microsoft Product Solution Center.

After much consideration, we regret to announce that we have discontinued the Semo.net Lotto contest. We would like to thank all of our customers that have participated in the weekly event and to congratulate all of the previous winners!

Its been months in the designing, but the new semo.net home page is ready and online. Please take a few minutes to peruse the content, we've tried to get most of the things you need access to on this one page. We are interested in your feedback on our new site, please post your comments in our online message forum.

After several years of providing weather, the staff of semo.net have decided that it is time to close the doors on semoweather.com. We appreciate your patronage and hope that the new weather content on our semo.net homepage will give you the information you need for our area weather. The school weather closings that were originally on the semoweather.com, in cooperation with Mississippi River Radio stations, site will be moved to the main semo.net homepage when they occur.

DSL coverage has been expanded in the Doniphan area. We will be continuing to resell this service in the new, expanded, coverage area. If you were unable to get DSL during the initial offering, you may now be eligible for this high-speed, always-on access. The new coverage expands approximately a 3 mile radius from the junction of E Hwy and 142.
