Jul 19,I contacted the Attorney General's office in the Sunshine Law division about people being prevented from attending the meeting on Tuesday because of room capacity. The answer came back that all public meetings must allow all the public to view and attend the public meeting. Jul 07,The city council meeting was packed Tuesday evening and, sadly, five people were not even allowed into the public meeting and not allowed to participate because the room reached capacity. Four members of the Open Access Petition group spoke including the group's attorney, Paul Kidwell.
