LAKE WAPPAPELLO - 4-H/FFA Farm Safety Day was held at the Lake Wappapello Visitor’s Center on October 6, 2014. In attendance were over 400 students, staff and presenters from Poplar Bluff. Students learned about the importance of safety in both farming and everyday activities. The event was sponsored by Butler County 4-H with the University of Missouri Extension, Poplar Bluff FFA, Progressive Agriculture and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
