• KENNETT - The Kennett Alliance For the Arts (KAFTA) 5th annual Fall Into Arts Festival took place this weekend at locations both on and near the city's downtown square. Kennett Friend's of Music secretary-Treasurer Libby Mobley noted there were outdoor and indoor activities and performances geared for the entire family. SEMO Little Theater actors kicked off the event Friday evening with their production of Neil Simon's play Plaza Suite. The ensemble performed on the Little Theater stage on Kennett Street near the square. The three-act play featured a number of different characters, all set in Suite 719 of New York City's Plaza Hotel.   • Poplar Bluff – The controversy over Council Member Peter Tinsley's comments on Facebook concerning President Barack Obama and Obamacare again bubbled up at Tuesday night's meeting of the Poplar Bluff City Council when Tommy Robinson, pastor of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church again appeared before the council. “The last time I was here, I presented a concern about Councilman Peter Tinsley and comments he had made on Facebook.
