UPDATE -- The tickets have been claimed. Thanks for your interest! Christmas at LaCroix is a wonderful celebration of music blended with the anticipation of Christmas. It is a wonderful evening that will delight the entire family. Semo.net bought 20 tickets for Friday night's Showing at 7pm at LaCroix Church in Cape Girardeau and four of them are not being used. So we would be happy to give them to you!!!! These $9 tickets are on Row C, and it won't cost you a dime (well, unless you have to buy dinner at Olive Garden for your family before the show like I have to! :). Nov 25,Bob and Pam Becker will be performing a free concert this Saturday at 7pm at the First United Methodist Church in Poplar Bluff. The concert is open to the public. The husband-wife duo have performed both on theatrical and concert stages with a number of wide diversity of styles. The evening promises to be with music from multiple genres including popular opera, folk songs & broadway tunes.
Nov 11,The Butler County Health Department has been receiving three different versions of the new H1N1 flu vaccine – each one designed for a specific use. The health department will be distributing the vaccine according to the guidelines established for each of the three versions. “There are three main types of H1N1 flu vaccine and each type is not right for everyone,” said Health Department Director, Robert Hudson. “It is important to remember that there will eventually be enough vaccine for everyone who wants to be vaccinated against the H1N1 flu.”
