  • Last night around 5:00pm Windstream had a fiber cable that was cut and this resulted in a disruption of long distance services to most of everyone in Windstream territories. This of course caused all DSL customers and a lot dial-up customers in the affected areas to not have Internet service. Windstream restored service last night around 11:00pm and all seems to be doing well today. We personally want to thank the Windstream Field Technicians for their hard work in getting the problem resolved. We also want to thank you, our customers, for be being patient during this outage. We are sorry if it caused you any inconveniences.

  • Due to a wiring failure, several of our core servers lost power early this morning, leaving users without Internet access. We corrected the problem, and customer services were restored at about 5:30 AM. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this outage may have caused you.
