  • Power at the semo.net offices died at 1:20am this morning along with most of Poplar Bluff. The auto-start generator functioned properly and kept all our servers with power (and we have two cold employees monitoring our servers). Many of our POPs (points of presence where we serve Dialup Internet service from) throughout the area have lost power and are dark, including Doniphan, Naylor, Neelyville, Steele, Bernie, & Parma. Most of our DSL, Cable, T1, & Wireless customers are online if they have power at their location. Currently we are waiting for power to be restored throughout the area before we can begin to restore services in the dark areas. I've created a post on the Message Forum for you to
