I had just concluded a lecture-ette, warning my children not to believe that anything said or done on the iCarly show (or any TV show for that matter) resembled reality. “Try talking to your boss disrespectfully some day and see if your real life ‘audience’ cheers you on like that! No. You will end up on the street with your little box of office knickknacks.”
I have been introducing my boys to FBB (Flicks Before Birth) over the past year. Rediscovering some of my favorites movies has been great family fun. The other night we were watching Men In Black and I heard a quote that I missed the first time I watched this movie (I was probably getting a popcorn refill at the time). Agent K, Tommy Lee Jones, was filling in Will Smith's character about the existence of aliens on planet earth:

When AT&T first came out with DSL in our area back in 2001, they were required by the Federal Government to offer wholesale agreements to Internet Service Providers (ISP) like semo.net. We bought the copper-connection from the customer's home back to our building where we would connect the customer to the Internet and support them when they had problems. We've offered DSL service through SBC and AT&T since day 1.
