  • POPLAR BLUFF - Three Rivers College is honoring U.S. Veterans this week with a full slate of activities. On Tuesday, a Veterans Day Ceremony was held at 10 a.m. at the campus’ flagpole, with Army/Air Force appreciation Day to follow on Wednesday at noon at the Bess Student Center. Face Painting activities will be part of the fun. Thursday is designated as Navy/Coast Guard Appreciation Day. The week ends with Friday’s R.E.D. Day to remember all deployed troops by wearing red shirts. A “Rock Your Red” bowling party will take place at Bluff Lanes, 6 to 9 p.m., for anyone wearing red that has a college ID.
