On 08-03-14 at 9:07 pm Officers with the Poplar Bluff Police Department responded to the parking lot at Hastings (900 Block of North Westwood Blvd in Poplar Bluff) in reference to a robbery complaint. A 17 year old female victim reported that she was riding in a vehicle with Terrance Fields (19 years old, of the 1300 block of North 10th st Poplar Bluff Missouri), Demetri Rodgers (19 years old, of the 1500 block of Dawn st in Fayetteville Arkansas), and Steven Moore (23 years old, of the 700 block of County Road 605 in Poplar Bluff Missouri). New City Manager of Poplar Bluff will be Heath Kaplan Heath Kaplan will come to the city of Poplar Bluff from Muskegon, MI to serve as City Manager in mid August. Kaplan was the top pick from both the Selection Committee and the City Council. Kaplan brings a wealth of experience in government management. Three Rivers College's Theater Department will hold an informational session for community members interested in joining a New York Theater Trip at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, August 21 in the Tinnin Fine Arts Center Auditorium. "This will be the second trip to New York we've done, based off of the rousing success of our first excursion in 2012," said Tim Thompson, Director of the Tinnin Fine Arts Center.
